Microwave Interview: SHYS DEBIOCCI
Rising South Carolina based Hip Hop Recording artist SHYS DEBIOCCI is in THE MICROWAVE for being "HOT RIGHT NOW"! Read all about what this bright young super star has to say in this one on one interview.
The Microwave: What's up Shys Debiocci?
Shys Debiocci: Good, just busy trying to make things happen.
The Microwave: We see that you recently won an award for being the Best SLEPT ON ARTIST at the Geechie One Awards, how do you feel about that?
Shys Debiocci: It feels good to not be from here and be respected as an artist on the up and coming.... It primed me for the B.E.T. Awards. lol
The Microwave: Who were you up against for that award?
Shys Debiocci: A few people. Lets see, MAG, Tragedy and many more. I really was focused on me and winning then who I was against. That's not me being cocky, it's just I don't fear.
The Microwave: So you are in the Microwave for being "hot right now", what makes Shys Debiocci so "hot"?
Shys Debiocci: I got god shepherding my path. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I got faith. I've been doing this for only a year in like two months and I have surpassed people who have been out there for ten years. I'm known and respected in many states and I have done shows with some heavy hitters. SWV to name one. I got a major marketing and distribution deal and you got people dying for a break. I shut down shows every time I'm on stage. I can sing and write any genre. I mean the list goes on and on. I have the greatest support team and fan base.
The Microwave: What do you consider "hot"?
Shys Debiocci: What do I consider hot? Making a name for yourself outside your state. Being real at all times. Staying true to yourself and those around you. Including not turning on people who support you and look at you as Family. Keeping your face clean. A lot of people do grimey ish to the ones who kept it real more than your team.
The Microwave: You have two hot singles in rotation right now "Twerk" and "My City"..... what's your next single?
Shys Debiocci: I think my next single will be "Going Live" which is one of my favorites and it's a hit out this world. Actually "My City" I didn't even place on the album. I'mma do a 5 to 6 track EP or something and it'll be on there.
The Microwave: What are your plans for the rest of 2014?
Shys Debiocci: For the rest of 2014 I plan on publishing a book called "2 Ways 2 Hustle", which will be a banger I promise, and taking some more vocal training if possible and kill this gym. Gotta stay healthy and get some rest I'm physically, mentally and emotionally tired. LOL
The Microwave: Is there anything else you would like to plug?
