Microwave Interview with Rhyme Scheme

This Microwave Blog entry is dedicated to the rising West Coast Hip Hop recording artist known as Rhyme Scheme.  Rhyme Scheme has been doing a lot of big things recently, releasing 3 critically acclaimed singles that have been getting spins on commercial and non commercial radio, getting tons of press and publicity and more!  Rhyme Scheme is certainly HOT RIGHT NOW and this is why he's the latest rapper to come out of THE MICROWAVE!  Read the Interview below to find out what makes Rhyme Scheme "hot right now"!

The Microwave Blog:  You are in the Microwave so that means you are "hot right now", what makes Rhyme Scheme "hot right now"?
 Thank you for the support.  Right now, I’m just trying to make music that people can relate to.  I like to express my realities in life.  I’m just motivated to get to the top as well.


What mainstream artists do you feel are "hot right now"?
I’m feeling J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar.  They are trying to change the game.


Besides hip hop/ rap what other genres of music are you into?
I am very heavy into reggae, both in Spanish and English.  I also like rock, bachata, merengue, and salsa.


You have 3 hot singles out right now that are burning up the world wide web as well as radio, "Four Letters", "Can't Stop", and the "Do or Die" freestyle video, would you care to tell the viewers about each of those tracks?
Those 3 tracks display my raw emotion.  “Four Letters” expresses the reality of love, “Can’t Stop” expresses my desire to reach the top, and “Do or Die” is just an uncensored venting session. I’m very proud of those tracks.


Who did you work with for those singles?
 I worked with KZR Beatz, DJ J Green, and Victoree.


What do you feel was one of the most effective ways to get your music heard?
Blogs, mixtape contest, Dj(s), Internet radio, and a street team.


What does Rhyme Scheme get into when he's not in the studio cranking out the hits?
Rhyme Scheme is about giving back to the community. Educating the youth and volunteering in the community.


Have you ever thought about crossing over into other fields of entertainment, such as... acting?
Yes.  I would love to act one day and exercise all of my talents.  It’s one of my future goals to be in Hollywood .


What movies or television shows do you feel are "hot" right now in your opinion?
Fast and Furious and Love and hop Atlanta .


What about actors or actresses that are "hot right now"?
Jamie Fox is really on his game right now.


What would you define as "hot"?
 Hot is when a person is focused and motivated to be great.  We are all “hot” in our old regards.


Is there anything else you would like for our readers to know?
Always follow your dreams and never give up.
